Bikini Atoll, a remote ring of islands in the Marshall Islands, is one of the most sought-after wreck diving locations in the world. These underwater sites are preserved in a time capsule-like state, providing a rare look at history submerged in a silent world of coral and marine life.

While the atoll remains uninhabited due to long-term radiation concerns, guided expeditions are allowed and typically organized by licensed operators with strict safety protocols. Visitors sleep on liveaboard vessels and explore the area under supervision. These trips are seasonal and limited, adding to the exclusivity of visiting a location that most people have only heard of through documentaries or history books. Scientists and environmentalists have also shown interest in the atoll’s partial ecological recovery, some areas have surprisingly high biodiversity despite the historical impact.
